For You, And Your Denial // Yellowcard

After an official two year hiatus and after not releasing a new single for almost three years, Yellowcard is back with one of the most anticipated albums of 2011 in the pop punk realm. The single “For You and Your Denial” hit the radio on January 18th and has since exploded in popularity. The album When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes is set to be released on March 22nd on Hopeless Records. If this single is any indication of the new album’s popularity, this record will definitely be rising to number 1 on the charts in no time.

The single opens with their infamous electric violin solo and then explodes into a high energy pop punk song. The violin acts like the backbone of the song and can be heard throughout the whole song in the background.  The lyrics of the song aren’t too daring, and play on the mostly on the safe side, but they still make for a great radio hit and are extremely catchy. The single also accomplishes one other major thing: it leaves both new and old fans wanting more. After hearing the single old and new fans alike might find it challenging to wait until March 22nd for the official release of their new record When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes
