How often is Positivexposure published? 
We’re currently behind, so our schedule will be kind of erratic in the near future. Bear with us, and we will update this question when our schedule has returned to normal. (Updated: December 2011)

Where can I find Positivexposure in stores? 
You can’t. It’s a free, digital magazine. Just check www.positivexposure.com 

How can I get in touch with one of your writers? 
Email editorial@positivexposure.com and make sure you put who the email is for and we’ll forward it. 

How did you come up with the name positivexposure? 
It’s our mission statement summed up. It came from the statement, “we want to give them positive exposure”.

Is it Positivexposure or Positive Exposure?
It’s Positivexposure. The E is shared between the two words. Yes, we know… we know.

How many people work on positivexposure? 
Only one person works full-time on the magazine itself. A handful of great people contribute their time to the magazine and the website when they can.

Where is Positivexposure located?
We’re based in Southern California. 

Do I have to live in California to work for you? 
Nope. Just have internet, a passion for music, and some useable skills. 

Are you hiring?
All positions are unpaid volunteer positions. If you feel like helping out you can email editorial@positivexposure.com about what you think you can bring to the table. No specific experience is needed… talent is talent. 

Why don’t you feature articles? 
You don’t read magazines to find out what the writers have to say. You read magazines to find out what artists have to say, and that’s what we publish. 

How do you choose bands to feature? 
We love to interview bands we are already personally fans of, sharing our favourites with the readers. We get press releases and emails from hard working bands and we read every single one and then interview the bands we like. When we interview band members we like to ask them what bands they’re currently into, and if we interview bands they told us about they are featured in the Recommended By: section. We also love interviewing bands our readers love, so if you want to see a particular band in Positivexposure, email your suggestions to editorial@positivexposure.com
